About This Campaign

The Judson University Softball family is heartbroken to share the passing of an incredible man — Coach Rick Eddy. For decades, Rick poured his heart into our program, serving in many roles: head coach, recruiter, mentor, friend, and unwavering supporter. His impact goes far beyond the field.

Rick believed coaching was about more than wins and losses. It was about people — about building relationships, investing in lives, and encouraging those around him with genuine care and compassion. Whether he was giving advice, showing up at games, or simply checking in with a kind word, Rick had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and supported.

His legacy is woven into the very fabric of Judson Softball. The players he coached, the lives he touched, and the spirit he brought to our community will never be forgotten. We are deeply grateful for the time we had with him, and we will carry his influence with us — on and off the field.

Coach Eddy, thank you for everything. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
