2020-2022 Jamaica Choir Tour
The Judson University Choir has the exciting opportunity to travel to Jamaica on a mission serving trip.
Our Story
The Judson choir is pleased to serve in schools, churches, rehab clinics and medical missions throughout Jamaica. About 40 students will be going on this trip, which will take place in May 2021. The Choir served in Jamaica in May of 2014 and 2016, and the response was so positive that we have been asked to come back for another follow-up time of worship-leading and ministry.
Our time in Jamaica will consist of choral concerts of worship, service projects, and a bit of sight-seeing, alongside and under the guidance of Dr. Warren Anderson, our director, and world-renowned pianist Rev. Huntley Brown, a native Jamaican and Judson alumnus who also is Artist-in-Residence at Judson’s Demoss Center for Worship in the Performing Arts. The philosophy of the Judson University Choir is that we do not simply perform concerts, we lead worship services, and that is exactly what we plan to do while in Jamaica as God opens doors for us and grants us strength and sustenance.
We ask for your support for the Judson University Choir, financially and/or through prayer. The trip is going to cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $2,250 per person, so any amount that you are able to donate is incredibly helpful and much appreciated.
Just as important is prayerful support of this trip. Our team knows that with God all things are possible, and we are relying on Him to make this a meaningful experience for us and the people to whom we will be ministering. Please pray for safe travel and group unanimity of spirit, that we would remain united in Christ and seize opportunities to serve. We invite you to join us in praying that God will use our efforts to glorify Him and to bless His people in Jamaica.
PLEASE NOTE: Please fill in the student name in the Donation Comment field.
