Judson Steel Pan Ensemble (Percussion Ensemble)

Our Story

The new Steel Pan Ensemble (a sub-set of the Judson Percussion Ensemble) is in need of a set of bass pans.  They come in a set of 6 and due to their size and depth of pitch only have 3 notes per drum thus the reason for requiring a full set of 6 drums. 

The Six Bass is the most widely used form of Bass Pans. They're fashioned from a 50 gallon oil drum and are skillfully made to order and can take up to a year to make a complete set.

The Judson Steel Pan Ensemble is growing and additional drums are needed to accommodate more participants in the ensemble as well as to enhance the sound of this unique group.
