Robert's Oklahoma Trip Fundraising
This is my second time going to Oklahoma, I am excited to be revisiting the people of Glorieta Baptist church.
Our Story
Dear Donors,
I am very excited to share with you that during Spring Break, February 28-March 8,2026.
I have the opportunity to travel to Oklahoma for a service experience through Judson University. God has opened up this opportunity for my team and I to partner with Glorieta Baptist Church and Pastor Dr. Mark Custalow serving Native American families in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Oklahoma is home to the large Cherokee Nation. Glorieta Baptist Church is a family of faith that is uniquely Native American since their founding and is a family that welcomes all people to come worship and serve Jesus as members of one family of God. Our team will be building relationships through sports ministry, youth and community outreach ministry, helping with service projects and serving in practical ways as needed.
I am asking you most importantly for your support in prayer for my team that will be traveling to Oklahoma. Pray that we can be a light of hope for those who need it. Please also pray that our own lives will be forever impacted as we learn from the Cherokee Nation and as we humble ourselves before God.
Also, I am asking you to prayerfully consider supporting Judson's Global Outreach efforts-in partnering with Glorieta Baptist Church. I am looking to raise about $550. to support the work we will be doing.
Your contribution is tax-deductible as long as you make the check out to "Judson University" and leave the memo line blank or simply write "Oklahoma". Please include the enclosed mail insert with your donation, as that will ensure your gift is correctly credited to my trip costs.
Please do not write my name on the check.
Thank you (so much!) in advance for your generosity in prayer and finances. I pray that your gift will not only bless the both of us, but everyone we meet in Oklahoma. I will be sure to update you on my trip upon my return, as I am positive it will be a life-changing experience.
Sincerely,
Robert Valdez-Withrow
