Our Mission

The mission of A Promise to Jordan is to raise awareness and eliminate the stigma of addiction, assist people in accessing quality care, and give hope that recovery is possible to those struggling with substance use disorders.

Who We Are

A Promise to Jordan was founded on July 26, 2018, following the accidental overdose death of 24-year-old Jordan Arakelian on June 30, 2018. His mother, Lisa Gray, Founder and Executive Director, made a promise to her son that day that she would continue fighting to save other individuals and families from the devastation that's brought on by the disease of addiction. A Promise to Jordan hosts community education programs to raise awareness of and eliminate the stigma of addiction, and community outreach in the form of programs designed to prevent substance use disorders and help those already struggling with them to achieve or maintain recovery.
