AFRICA COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION SERVICES INC

A non-profit organization, Africa Community Transformation Services (ACTS) is dedicated to transforming communities by providing education, healthcare and resources that will enable communities to help themselves. We work in partnership with Horn of Africa Mission (HOAM)—a ministry God is using to plant thousands of churches in Africa—in order to reinforce the expansion of the kingdom of God in Africa. Together with HOAM, ACTS vision is for people of Africa to be free from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and become fruitful citizens of God's kingdom. One of the ways we achieve this goal is through a child sponsorship program. This project unites impoverished children with individual sponsors who wish to address the children's immediate and basic needs, and give them the tools and opportunities necessary for success. Those children who have neither parent still alive are the first to receive support, followed by those with only one parent living. Any remaining resources are used to support the most needy of the rest. The family's faith is not a criteria in the selection process. Together we can transform Africa one child at a time. When you sponsor a child for $20 a month; that child will get a Christ centered education, one meal a day, one school uniform every year, and an opportunity to hear and see the gospel in a culturally relevant way. We work with the local evangelical churches in order to teach, train and mentor these children in the way of the Lord.
