The mission of AIMA® is to establish and promote quality standards for Islamic Montessori Education (IME®) across the United States.
Who We Are
The American Islamic Montessori Association® (AIMA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, professional membership organization established in St. Louis, Missouri to meet the needs of the Islamic educational community.
The guiding vision of AIMA® is to promote lasting peace in a troubled world for the benefit of future generations through the provision of quality Islamic Montessori Education (IME®).
We, at the AIMA, endeavor to support the implementation of Islamic Montessori Education (IME®) in Islamic schools across the United States.
What we do:
- Educational Consultation
- Teacher Development and Support
- Avenues for Teacher Credentialing and Certification
- Development of Standards for IME® Educators and Schools
- Promotion of public interest in and awareness of IME®
