Our Mission

Arbor Youth Services strives to provide a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for unaccompanied youth (from birth through 24 years of age) who have suffered abuse, neglect or are at-risk of being victimized and are homeless.

Who We Are

We provide emergency shelter for children and youth under 18, and we help youth who are between 18 and 24 years of age transition from homelessness to housing. All of the children and youth we serve find themselves homeless often at no-fault of their own, whether they’ve been removed from their home, kicked out of their home, or age-out of foster care. We are the only Safe Place designated shelter in Central KY. We envision a community where all children and youth who are at-risk are strengthened and supported to regain ties with their family, their community and other encouraging adults.
