BLACK WARRIOR RIVERKEEPER INC

Founded in 2001, Black Warrior Riverkeeper is dedicated to improving water quality, wildlife habitat, recreation, and public health throughout the Black Warrior River basin. That watershed encompasses parts of 17 Alabama counties, is home to over a million people, and is contained entirely in Alabama, America’s leading state for freshwater biodiversity. We identify major pollution problems and work on cleaning them up while increasing public awareness.
