Camphill Soltane

Since 1988, we have cultivated a strong horticultural initiative, developed numerous art and craft offerings, and has opened inclusive social enterprises; all while serving young adults and adults in social, educational, therapeutic, and vocational capacities. We are a non-profit organization and a member of the international Camphill Movement. We collaborate closely with Parzival, a human services provider founded by Soltane, to facilitate these goals. Camphill Soltane provides opportunities for young adults and adults with intellectual differences to work with artists and craftspeople to develop their talents both recreationally and vocationally. We provide healing supports through music, movement, and art therapies, nature immersion, and offer training in trauma healing in our Empowered Healing Intensives. We integrate adults with intellectual disabilities into our initiatives with the intention to support an individual’s connection with oneself and others. We provide paid employment and volunteer opportunities to adults with intellectual differences in Chester County, PA. In addition to work, our enriching art, craft, horticultural and educational initiatives are engaged in by the nearly 50 people with intellectual disabilities supported by Parzival, a human services provider founded by Camphill Soltane, and also welcomes people with intellectual differences supported through other agencies to participate in our community and initiatives.
