disABILITYsa aligns its programs around four pillars: * EDUCATE by exchanging information, resources, ideas, and supports between people with all types of disabilities and the disability service organizations in San Antonio; * ENGAGE individuals with disabilities as active participants in the community; * STRENGTHEN organizations that provide services that benefit people with disabilities; and * ADVANCE public attitudes, awareness, respect, and consideration for individuals with disabilities. At disABILITYsa, we work to connect people with resources, advance public attitudes, reframe the way we think about and define disability, increase access to the community experience, and amplify the voices of individuals with disabilities in the areas of housing, healthcare, transportation, socialization, employment, and education; collectively we strive toward a vision to make San Antonio the #1 community where people with disabilities want to live, work, learn, and play.
