Who We Are

The Girls Inc. experience consists of an environment, people, and programming that together, empower girls to succeed. Girls Inc. is a youth development agency that focuses on helping girls through meeting their needs, holistically. It is what makes Girls Inc. unique among youth serving organizations. Programs are offered in the following areas: academic support and enrichment; career and life planning; self-reliance and life skills; health and wellness; leadership and community action; and culture and heritage. Athletic and enrichment activities are carefully chosen to complement academic offerings as well as to develop physical health and fitness and to promote teamwork. Curriculum and related activities are chosen to be hands-on, intrinsically appealing to girls and to engender interest and enthusiasm for the subject matter.
