Our Mission
The GLLT works to maintain a balance of land protection and reasonable development of the Kezar Lake and adjacent watersheds. We seek partnerships with the communities we serve to ensure our most valued natural areas remain healthy and viable. We work directly with individuals and families interested in taking conservation action on their properties.
Who We Are
The Mission of the Greater Lovell Land Trust is “To protect the ecosystems of the Kezar Lake, Kezar River, and Cold River watersheds, in perpetuity, for the benefit of this region's natural and human communities.â€
To date, 2015 the land trust and its landowner partners have set aside nearly 5,000 acres for future uses that benefit people, place and nature. Our efforts continue.
The GLLT has a robust and distinguished Environmental Education Program to help people develop a deep appreciation for the natural world and instill a commitment to preserving ti for future generations.
