Heart for Orphans

Heart for Orphans is a 501(c)3 ministry that provides support and stability to orphans in Ukraine and Belarus. Without intervention, these kids face a life of crime, drugs, alcohol and prostitution. Many end up in prison, sold by sex traffickers or die too young. Feelings of abandonment, rejection and despair is all they know! Heart for Orphans Transition Home program offers teens (ages 16-22) a chance to live in a healthy family environment. These Christ-centered homes are small in size and allow teens to live in a home and be part of a family. They are showered with love, patience and understanding and taught life skills. We give them a refuge and a permanent hope. Our Orphanage Outreach Program is designed to mentor and guide children still living in orphanages. On a weekly basis, these orphans, ages 5 - 15, are visited by Outreach Coordinators and their team. Our Teen Outreach Program reaches orphanage graduates with a fun, upbeat programs that include music, games, life skills, mentorship and Bible study. Volunteers reach out to teens living in trade school dorms, develop relationships with them and let them know that they are loved and have a purpose in life. Our Foster Support Program partners with local foster families in Ukraine and Belarus. These compassionate families have a combination of biological and foster children as well as older teens. They often feel alone and in need of additional support. We offer training, counseling and other resources, as well as fellowship with other Christians working in the ministry. In all of our programs, we introduce them to God and teach them that God loves them and will never abandon them, so they may one day have an impact for Christ in their own country!
