HOVSEPIAN MINISTRIES

Hovsepian Ministries was founded by the family of Christian martyr, Haik Hovsepian. Our mission is to advocate for the persecuted church and equip isolated believers with resources for spiritual development. We do this by producing and distributing Christ-centered media content in the Farsi language and sharing the stories of persecuted believers. Our main activities in pursuit of this goal are as follows: SATELLITE TV PROGRAMS: Hovsepian Ministries produces quality TV programs that are broadcast every week around the world through satellite stations. The majority of Iranians have access to satellite TV, giving us a unique opportunity to share the message of salvation, teach them how to grow in their faith, and offer them access to Biblical studies and worship music. SOCIAL MEDIA: Social media is one of our most effective ministry tools today. Telegram is one of the few social media platforms that remains unfiltered in Iran and, with over 40 million Iranian users, it is the perfect platform to share the Gospel message with a huge audience. Geranbaha (which means “precious” in Farsi) is our social media channel for Farsi-speakers. It is through this channel that we produce and share original Christian content with over 23,000 followers on various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram and Whats App. DISCIPLESHIP AND FOLLOW UP: As a result of our media outreach strategy, we have a fast-growing communication network with Iranians and the rest of the Farsi-speaking world, including Afghans. From January to July of 2019 we received 4,135 direct messages across our social media platforms. A trained, experienced and biblically knowledgeable team led by a full-time pastor is devoted to following up with these individuals who reach out to us. As a direct result of these conversations, many have received salvation and continue to grow in their faith. The follow-up ministry has supported marriage restorations, family healing, freedom from bondage, the breaking of bad habits, and a stronger stand against temptation.
