Our Mission
ITA exists to provide transformational training for leaders on mission globally.
Who We Are
A growing partnership of diverse mission and training agencies, the International Training Alliance (ITA) came into existence in response to the deep need for leadership training around the world.
Training. Many organisations using the word “training” focus on a teacher-centred model of lecturing students. The leaders in ITA recognize the need for quality training that is interactive and participative—training that honours leaders by building on their current knowledge and experience in their unique contexts. Our goal is to sharpen their skills and build humble confidence.
Participation. Active participation is an integral part of ITA training, with an emphasis on developing key leadership skills and leaders themselves playing an active role in their own growth and development.
Practitioners. Experienced leaders from several cross–cultural organisations within ITA cooperated to create this specialized training, and each training team is made up of practitioners from the different ITA organisations—leaders currently involved in ministry.
