The present and future of any Nation depends on the children. In order for communities to continue to thrive, we all must collectively invest in the success of our youths. Every child deserves an equal opportunity toward a bright future; and in order to maximize the success of society as a whole, we must empower each and everyone of them. Unfortunately, young people from marginalized communities are more likely to face issues with poverty, health, education, welfare, and justice; thus Lady Mitz Foundation purpose.
The acts of violence against women are often intended to intimidate, manipulate, humiliate, threaten or hurt women and girls. The most common acts of violence against women in Nigeria include sexual harassment, physical violence, harmful traditional practices, emotional and psychological violence, socio-economic violence and violence against non-combatant women in conflict situation.
Women and young girls are not giving equal opportunity to participate in education, workplace, traditional settings, etc.
Lady Mitz Foundation, has joined in the fight against gender equality by educating, inspiring, motivating and empowering our young women and girls to become independent, achieve success and live their best lives. We have given 7 young women in Imo State Nigeria scholarship to study in their local Universities. We have assisted the one who graduated in 2019
LMF fully funds the higher learning of disadvantaged young women and offers positions on the Lady Mitz Foundation team after graduation to carry out the mission of the foundation by managing current programs, refining processes, and launching new initiatives.
Lady Mitz Foundation will also Provide virtual forums where these Young women will be Inspired, Encouraged, and empowered to connect, mingle, interact and collaborate with other peers globally from other nations and cultures via virtual conferences.
In addition to our signature programs, the Lady Mitz Foundation offers two funding programs: Elevate Scholarships and “All In” Business Assistance. These programs were inspired by the trending financial gaps that many village youths are facing today.
Because of the efforts of our Team Of Heroes, we are changing the lives of the future of Nigeria’s disadvantaged female youths.
