MBIRA is a non-profit organization that celebrates the musical traditions of Zimbabwe. Since 1998, our activities have resulted over $1.3 million paid to over 300 Zimbabwean musicians and instrument makers, impacting thousands there through their teaching and support of extended families! We have provided thousands of traditional instruments, and Zimbabwean music education to millions, worldwide.
