Mukti Mission US provides avenues for our Partners to bring Hope, Healing, and Life for Indian Women and Children!

Who We Are

Pandita Ramabai Mukti Mission began in 1889 when a brilliant Indian woman, Pandita Ramabai, was compelled to action! Herself, a desperate young widow with a baby, she personally trusted Jesus as her Savior, becoming His servant, pioneering pathways of hope, healing, and life for rejected and abandoned Indian women and children. Today Mukti Mission's children's homes, women's homes, staff homes, schools, hospital, farm and dairy, and Orchard Projects for children Most@RISK, reach over 3,500 Indian women and children pulled from extreme poverty. From Mukti, they gain acceptance, care, and life skills empowering them to the possibilities of a future!
