Our Mission

The New London Area Food Pantry provides a very diverse and balanced diet of fresh, frozen and canned foods to area residents who need emergency food in the southeastern CT, greater New London area. This includes vegetables, fruit, bread, meats or fish, dairy, cereals and grains, pasta, staples and snacks. Specific items will vary each week based upon availability.

Who We Are

We have been in operation since 1988 as a 501(c) Nonprofit. We are all volunteers and have a staff of over 50. We get about 75% of our food from Foodshare, the United Way/Labor Food Center and local farms. The rest we buy with cash donations or receive as food donations from the public and local organizations. We are in the O.I.C. Building at 106 Truman St., New London, CT 06320.
