The Essences of the Edge I. The Condition A. In the Old Testament God called all kinds of individuals to go to the Edge in a historical circumstance and preserve the sacredness of “the seed” the Savior. 1. In some cases it called for the supernatural intervention of the living God. 2. Some it was an innocent simple supernatural task performed out of love. 3. Others came about by the failure of one leader and the success of another. B. In the New Testament (the Sacred Seed delivers Jesus) He calls His believers to the Edge of the culmination of the process of the deliverance of the Gospel and the simultaneous founding of the church. 1. One a prolific writer recording all the great interventions performed by the Savior. Going to an Edge trying to explain God’s Supernatural intervention. 2. One a persecutor saved by God’s Supernatural love. Now calling all mankind to the Supernatural Savior. 3. Others called to the Edge of experiencing and performing Supernatural Healing. II. The Call (Our Gifting) A. Ephesians 10:2 - “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” NASB 1995) His “workmanship”- “something made” and in context is something made by God Himself. 1. Prepared “beforehand” – your more than a Poem as some have said or a piece of Art. You have been prepared beforehand as part of His PLAN. He Has innately created in you the discipline to exercise your created giftedness. Specifically, formed to fill a void in His kingdom during your lifetime. III. The Command - 1. We are instrument of God’s Grace speaking into the hearts of people responding to a Supernatural Call. A. By being and instrument of God’s Grace and challenging people to discover the Supernatural gift God has called them to. B. The special platform, He has given them, with that ability to share the specifics of the Gospel to those in need of, at the time. C. Networking with individuals that are seeking that touch stone call of God. Assisting them to experience success and purpose, as they exercise their call to “Live On The Edge” and move others along with them.
