Our Mission

Our mission is to prevent sex slavery and to liberate enslaved women and girls through the direct eradication of root causes. We are a thought leader and leading impact organisation working in Nigeria and with Nigerian survivors globally to build a best practices model for the developing world.

Who We Are

We accomplish our mission in three ways: 1. Pathway to Freedom: Provide customized rehabilitation plans for survivors who have been trafficked and who are returning to Nigeria in broken pieces; also provide economic empowerment for women who are at risk of being trafficked. 2. The Justice Initiative: Dismantling inequitable social structures by calling into account and influencing the influencers; the gatekeepers and lawmakers who have the power to end trafficking. In 2020, we also conducted groundbreaking research on recruiters of sex trafficking from Edo state, the primary hub of trafficking in Nigeria. 3. Truthtellers: But we're not just speaking truth to power but also speaking truth to the seemingly powerless by empowering local communities to see trafficking as a crime, not just against an individual, but against the community. And we do so by raising awareness through campaigns, PSAs and partnering with the community to create that transformation.
