Our Mission

Our organization is dedicated to improving the lives of Veterans suffering from mental and/or physical disabilities through trained service dogs, empowering them and their families to achieve lifelong successes and to pave their way home. PAVE their way home! Help Veterans receive service dogs.

Who We Are

Paws Assisting Veterans provides highly trained service dogs free of charge to our Veterans to assist with challenges of PTSD, MST, TBI, and other military service related disabilities. We provide custom one-on-one training camps to allow Veterans who are severely impacted by their disabilities to feel at ease and progress at their own speed. Our service dogs are trained for a variety of tasks, for example: waking the Veteran from a nightmare redirecting the Veteran during a PTSD episode retrieve medication and other items alerting the Veteran to increasing tension
