A multitude of partners from recovering substance abuse organizations and felons, local artists, cultural practitioners, and local businesses are provided an opportunity to achieve their sustainability goals through active participation. Also providing carbon offset programs showcasing our commitment to the community and the state of Hawai'i. We focus on working alongside industry leaders to offer sustainability programs which align with each individual company's goals. The programs focus on lessening the company's impact of GHG emissions. Once a companies' environmental impact is calculated the number of trees recommended to plant to offset its carbon footprint will be planted in conservation land. This plan is customized based on company goals. Education costs are then offset by these company's funds and commitment. The bottom line is the greater the contributors the more educational opportunities become available. Hawai'i our home and the "Piko" (center) of the world is the ideal place to rebuild substantial forests. Hawai'i being known for its "Aloha" spirit it is only fitting that we care for these islands many people call home. Saving Hawai`i's Forests establishes self-sustaining, multi-species forests to absorb greenhouse gases from the atmosphere and restore natural ecosystems. We put back the mix of native species that would have been present in the local area prior to land clearing. By doing so, our forests also provide a sanctuary for native wildlife who can safely return to their natural habitat.
