Our Mission
We aid Israel Defense Forces personnel who lack family support. We supply non-military items such as towels, socks, hats, and gloves.
Who We Are
We were founded in 2004 by a Holocaust survivor and her friend. After a visit to Israel, they realized that IDF personnel were responsible for their own toiletries. That's how the name "Shaving Israel" came about. We have an all volunteer group in the US and Israel. We collect money in the US to buy Israeli goods, which supports their economy and avoids shipping costs. Our Israeli volunteers package and hand these items to members of the IDF who need them. We also sponsor educational programs in the US centered around Israel and the Israel Defense Forces.
