Shule Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of Uganda’s street-connected boys—children and youth who have been forgotten, abandoned, or pushed to the margins. We work to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness through education, empowerment, and long-term support. Our approach is holistic and hands-on. We sponsor access to formal education, provide vocational training in fashion design, computing, and agriculture, and invest in leadership development to ensure boys grow not only in skill, but in confidence and character. What makes Shule Foundation stand out is our deep commitment to walking the entire journey with each boy—from the streets to self-reliance. We don’t run short-term projects; we build long-term futures. Our team operates on the ground in Uganda, forming strong relationships, addressing root causes, and tailoring support to individual needs. At Shule, we believe these boys are not problems to fix—they are leaders in the making. With the right opportunities, they rise. We’re here to make sure they get that chance.
