Sumter Humane Society

Our organization has become the shining star for open intake shelters in rural America. We consistantly have live outcome rates of 80-90% even though we intake over 100 animals per month - many of them feral cats and pit bull terriers. We aggressively seek spay/neuter grants and private funding to assist our community in reducing the population of unwanted, abandoned, and abused pets.
