Our Mission

Our mission is to build a community where everyone can thrive. The Branch of Nashville helps culturally diverse, under-resourced families in Southeast Nashville work toward self-sufficiency through food support, English language education, and job assistance. Through community partnerships, we overcome socioeconomic, religious, political, and cultural divisions to assist neighbors in need.

Who We Are

The Branch of Nashville started in 2013, operating a free food pantry in Antioch, Tennessee. We soon learned that not knowing English was restricting the earning capacity of our clients. Within a year, we were holding ESL classes at our facility. Today, Traditional English language classes, Intensive English, Basic English, and English Conversation classes, are being held virtually, which has opened our reach to the world.
