Our Mission

To build self confidence and independence in those who experienced abuse, the formerly incarcerated, immigrants, and at risk youth, by providing job training, mental health counseling treatment referrals, and financial literacy to become productive members of society.

Who We Are

Where We Work We are based in the Harlem area of Manhattan, NY. We accept students from all five boroughs of New York City. Our programs teach New York City-specific building codes and laws. What We Do Changing Lanes functions as a vocational/trade school in the City of New York. Our goal is to provide students with the skills necessary to excel in various construction and building-related professions; including code compliance and maintenance. In addition, we provide training courses on appropriate interviewing skills, resume writing, and financial literacy. Changing Lanes provides each student with study materials for passing the various New York State licensing exams.
