Our Mission

We are here to provide a safe space for teens to tell their story, find their voice, and declare what they know to be true.

Who We Are

At The Intuitive Writing Project, we lead writing-based empowerment programs for teenage girls and gender expansive youth. Through the creative, introspective process of writing, teens discover their strengths and learn to assert their voice as leaders. Our programs are designed for maximum personal growth and individualized mentoring, with no more than six students per class. Additionally, we use the Amherst Writing Method to create a safe, validating environment, in which all feedback in positive and everyone is honored and respected as a writer and storyteller.
