Our Mission

Improve livelihoods of vulnerable communities through economic empowerment, health, education, disability inclusion for better service delivery. 1. Livelihood – Focus on poverty reduction and increase of income and wealth creation. 2. Education – Supports young children in their early ages, offer mentorship programs and support secondary school fees for orphans and vulnerable children from urban informal settlements. 3. Health – Focus on HIV and non-communicable disease (NCD) 4. Disability- Works with all kinds of disability in rural areas.

Who We Are

Visionary Community Care Program (VICOCAP) is a national non-governmental organization (NGO) that was founded and registered by the NGO Coordination board on 26th January 2012 in the name of Local Community Awareness Programme (LOCAP). After four years of community work around livelihood and health, there was need to build a focused and vibrant organization that meets emerging community needs. LOCAP rebranded and was registered by the NGO Coordination board as an NGO on 27th January 2016 in the new name Visionary Community Care Program (VICOCAP). Vision is that of “A transformed Self-Reliant Society”. Specific objectives include; 1. Increase access to affordable and sustainable livelihood opportunities leading to improved standard of living among communities 2. To provide Community health care that improves quality of lives amongst marginalized and vulnerable members of the community. 3. To provide access to educational opportunities for orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) 4. To enhance the socio-economic empowerment among households with Persons with Disability
