Who We Are

We are a 501c3 music nonprofit now based in Castle Pines, Colorado. Established in August 2012 and gaining 501(c)(3) status in May 2018, our organization is led by a committed volunteer board. We are driven by the vision of fostering peace through the universal language of music. Our mission is to enhance and enrich communities by integrating music into various aspects of life. This is ultimately achieved through global artist partnerships, comprehensive music programs, and unwavering support for nonprofit initiatives. We support projects that share our values, focusing on the five pillars of peace: education, nutrition, housing, healthcare, and economic development. We’ve had the privilege of supporting several impactful organizations, including Schools for the Children of the World, Hope for Children of Africa, Building Hope, Summit Musicians Relief Fund, Summit Habitat for Humanity, Friends of the Fairplay Library, and South Park Food Bank. In 2012 and 2013, our collaboration with Schools for the Children of the World and Hope for Children of Africa successfully raised funds for the Gbarnga Community Learning Center in Bong County, Liberia. Additionally, in October 2012, we supported the Friends of the Fairplay Library by producing a concert, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the organization. Then in June 2018, we launched our WMD TRIBE Artist program. This program is a collaborative effort with select artists, musicians, and bands to bolster our fundraising through concerts and events. This initiative reflects our commitment to not just local, but global community improvement. Another endeavor included our partnership with the Summit Musicians Relief Fund. SMRF produced a benefit concert in July 2018, where we contributed by providing free entertainment and music production through our ‘Play for a Cause’ program. Furthermore, in 2019 our Music that Feeds program generated over 1500 pounds of food and $1000 in charitable donations for the South Park Food Bank. Expanding our reach, we proudly presented Dulcetterra in 2020. This event project resonated with our ethos of music-driven community enhancement. Dulcetterra innovatively hosted an online music festival, conference, and songwriting camp to celebrate the International Day of Peace. This distinctive event showcased live performances by global artists, hosted music industry panels, and organized a songwriting camp.
