ABHF is also committed to educating the public and primary care physicians that "Hearing Loss Is Not A Harmless Condition". ABHF is playing a leading role in providing advanced Neuro Hearing Health Clinics where we do auditory brain training and teach individuals with a hearing loss to listen better with and without hearing aids. The mission of Operation First Response, Inc (OFR) is to serve all branches of our nation’s Wounded Heroes/Disabled Veterans and their families with personal and financial needs. COVID-19 Pandemic It is times of crisis that Americans come together and support each other. As we are all aware of the recent events regarding COVID-19, we can safely assume many agencies and programs will need support in the coming days,weeks and months. While the medical component is top of mind for everyone, at Operation First Response we are focused on the non-medical side, the impact of not having income due to lost wages in the service industry. We know that people who perhaps have never needed services in the past will suddenly be at the point of need. OFR will be providing essential items such as food, water, hygiene kits, we will continue to get more information on this to ensure daily needs are met for our community and communities across the nation. We believe now more than ever, that it is crucial for all types of funding, gift cards, e-gift cards, food items, toiletry items, etc. to be able to give the needed assistance and aid to our Active Duty Service Members, Disabled Veterans, their families and our First Responders. All of our upcoming events have been canceled due to COVID-19, so we are reaching out to our partners for so we can keep our communities strong. We will not be able to support these families in crisis without your support now! Together, we are stronger! From our team to each of you, we thank you!

Mid-South Spay & Neuter Services

Mid-South Spay & Neuter Services is a 501(c)3 non-profit clinic dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and high euthanasia rates by offering affordable spay and neuter surgeries to the public. The clinic has operated since 2005 and has performed over 35,000 spay and neuter procedures and counting. In addition, the clinic offers age-appropriate pet vaccinations and micro-chipping, which are done at time of surgery.

CHILDRENS ADVOCACY CENTER OF ERIE COUNTY INC

Erie’s CAC opened in June 2001. A non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors, the CAC provides the following services: â€¢ A child-friendly suite of offices where children who may be victims of abuse are interviewed by a specially trained forensic interviewer when referred by law enforcement or the Erie County Office of Children and Youth. â€¢ Monthly multi-disciplinary meeting where all new and ongoing cases of child abuse are reviewed so that no child falls between the cracks. â€¢ Video recording of all interviews. â€¢ A closed circuit television observation room that permits investigating professionals to view the one interview rather than each professional having to separately interview the child. â€¢ Maintenance of county-wide protocols to improve the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. â€¢ Education of the various professionals in child abuse investigation and intervention techniques so that Erie incorporates the best practices of the country. â€¢ Prevention/ education training to the larger community to reduce the incidence of child abuse and increase the likelihood that it will be reported. â€¢ Linkages to area providers to insure the child-victims of abuse (and non-offending family members have access to appropriate medical, counseling and mental health services.
