The agency pairs adult volunteer mentors with children who can benefit from having a positive role model. Volunteers are asked to commit to a one-year friendship with the child, with most pairings lasting much longer. 99% of the children in our program are in school, not involved with the juvenile justice system and not pregnant or parenting.
