Brief summary of organization’s history. PROPEL – People Reaching Out to Provide Education and Leadership – was founded in 2004 by a small group of Boca Raton businessmen and community leaders to support the educational achievement and leadership development of the area’s less fortunate youth. In a city with a median household income of $71,468, 35% greater than Palm Beach County as a whole and 51% greater than that of Florida; over 90% of our youth come from households with an average family income of less than $42,244 (just 60% of the City’s). Most of our kids live in Dixie Manor, Pearl City, along Dixie Highway North to Delray Beach, inner city Deerfield Beach, and in Section 8 housing throughout the area.

The CEC is a faith-based non-profit agency serving Tarrant County families in crisis. Among the services provided to impoverished individuals and families are: food and income support, financial coaching, counseling, employment and education services. These resources and services help individuals to improve income potential through education and job skills training. We also provide services for seniors including food and isolation prevention opportunities.

Bethany House exists to provide “shelter” homes and services for single, expectant women and their future babies. Preparation for a healthy birth and responsible motherhood includes well-baby care, parenting classes, life skills, counseling, adoption counseling, education and employment opportunities, and communication skills. Bethany House seeks not only to provide basic needs, but also to prepare women for productive futures. Our program’s foundation is based on Christian principles and the love of God.
