Child Guidance Center of Southern CT, Inc.

The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut provides mental health services to children struggling with psychological, behavioral, developmental, social, or family problems, age birth to 18, in Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, and New Canaan, Connecticut. Our purpose is to reduce emotional suffering and dysfunctional behavior, strengthen families, and help every child achieve their optimal potential. Children in our programs cope with a variety of factors that impact their health and happiness, including bullying, family difficulties, school challenges, neglect, or even physical and sexual abuse. We have a range of programs to meet the unique needs and circumstances of every child and family. From ongoing therapy to emergency crisis response, we ensure the safety of our youngest community members, teaching them to take charge and self-manage their challenges so that they can enjoy a strong, healthy childhood. To ensure that our services reach every corner of the community, we have five office locations including on-site at a charter school. Money is never a barrier to a child who needs our help, as no family is turned away. We provide financial assistance to families who cannot afford the cost of therapy, ensuring that children at greatest risk receive the help they need.

NORTH IDAHO AIDS COALITION (NIAC)

NIAC is the only non profit community based organization providing free awareness, prevention and care for those infected or affected with HIV/AIDS in the ten Northern Counties of Idaho. NIAC provides much needed care to people living with HIV/AIDS, as well as free HIV testing and education to the community. NIAC is dedicated to doing our part to end new HIV infections in North Idaho as by advocating for the human right issues that still need to be addressed if we hope to change the course of this virus. Woodland Pattern Book Center is dedicated to the discovery, cultivation and presentation of poetry, independent literature, and the arts. Our goals are to promote a lifetime practice of reading and writing, to provide a forum and resource center for writers/artists in our region, and to increase and diversify the audience for contemporary literature through innovative approaches to multi-arts programming. Woodland Pattern is the only Milwaukee, Wisconsin arts organization presenting contemporary literature to the general public on a continuous basis.
