Our mission is to obey the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37) by fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19), by dedicating ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. The Gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16). But its power is compromised when taken out of its literal, historical, and theological context. This is why the first-century church (empowered by the Spirit of God) won so many converts (Acts 2-4). The Apostles did not shun to declare the whole counsel of God and turned the world upside down!

Our mission to “Unlocking the future of South Africa” is by providing the long term mentoring relationships these children need not only to survive, but to thrive as citizens and leaders. By State Constitution, the public portions are protected as "Forever Wild" Adirondack Forest Preserve. The Adirondack Council, using the best science, works to protect and build a better Adirondack Park with wild character and vibrant communities. We defend wilderness, support community sustainability, fight for clean air and water, combat invasive species and climate change, and advocate for private land stewardship and working farms and forests.
