DCM was created in 1990 by the initiative of members of the Episcopal Church of St. Martin in Davis and other religious and civic organizations as well as independent supporters. DCM began operations in February 1991 when our first Tuesday evening meal was served. Currently, we are serving three meals per week, operating a resource center, a street outreach program, providing emergency shelter to individuals, transitional housing programs for individuals and families and permanent supportive housing at Cesar Chavez Plaza.
