We strive to protect and enhance the high-quality natural, scenic and economic values that our rivers and tributaries provide to the citizens, visitors and wildlife of the Eagle River and Colorado River watersheds located in Eagle County.

NORTH DAKOTA SAFETY COUNCIL

The North Dakota Safety Council (NDSC) provides community and workplace safety training and advocacy throughout North Dakota. As a private, non-profit organization, the NDSC is supported through grants, donations, memberships and training revenue. Our dedicated safety advocates work hard every day to keep families whole and make North Dakota the safest state in the nation. The NDSC focuses on four key areas: Workplace Safety, Community Safety, Driver Safety, and First Aid/Emergency Response. In the workplaces, on our roads, and in our homes and communities, the NDSC strives to educate and install a safety mindset in all aspects of life.

Since our inception, we have successfully helped thousands of formerly incarcerated and justice-involved populations – regardless of race, age, gender or type of offense – connect with critical re-entry resources.

Pursuit of Happiness

For nearly twelve years our nonprofit has provided free, science-based information on life skills that promote happiness, empowering nearly five million visitors with new strategies to fight depression and experience greater psychological well-being. To achieve this, more than 100 volunteer experts specializing in many fields, as well as 3 P/T staff, have dedicated tens of thousands of hours to the Pursuit of Happiness project. Please join us in the fight against depression and the scientific pursuit of happiness. You can do this in many ways. These could include linking to our website through social media, taking one of our courses and learning how to teach about critical life skills and depression prevention, donating, or if you are a professional in psychology, psychiatry, counseling, secondary education, or website content management, volunteering.
