Hands On Peru
We generate capacities and opportunities in marginalized communities, through participatory work, so families can have the tools and knowledge necessary to have healthier and better quality lives. Hands on Peru has created a pioneering center called CESAPU - Public Health Center, with a pioneering model of community programs, with which it improves the conditioning factors of health (determinants of health), hand in hand with the same community. The most successful program is MADRE CESAPU. Which provides technical, economic and personal empowerment. It currently has a network of over 20 women textile artisans who sell their garments in the USA and Europe under the name Chimuk Handknit. Website: https://handsonperu.org Shop : shopchimuk.com
