Our Mission

Amman Imman builds the resiliency among Africa’s most vulnerable indigenous peoples and engages students worldwide as socially conscious leaders. Through our Africa-based program, Oases of Life, we establish points of civilization that flourish, beginning with the construction of permanent water sources. Our programs emphasize the roles of women and youth as leaders for society stability in health, equality and climate change adaptation.

Who We Are

.To reverse the trend of poverty and increased climate- induced vulnerability, Amman Imman builds Oases of Life, beginning with the construction of sustainable water sources. Since the onset of its work, Amman Imman has provided access to water for over 100,000 people and their animals. Amman Imman supports the development of communities around these water sources by carrying out activities in the following areas: WASH (Water, Hygiene, and Sanitation), health (curative and educational / preventive services), education (for children and adults), and economic security. Through its work, Amman Imman also indirectly contributes to the reduction of insecurity and illegal migration in the Sahel. Amman Imman also engages students globally as primary partners, educators, and leaders impacting the world’s most pressing social and environmental issues, such as: climate change, desertification, gender equality, migration and education.
