Invisible Illness Awareness Network

Invisible Illness Awareness Network

Invisible Illness Awareness Network is committed to increasing awareness of invisible illnesses, chronic illnesses, and disabilities, especially among current and future healthcare professionals. We promote understanding through our adaptable education program designed for high schools, colleges, and other forms of higher education, while encouraging empathy between patients, providers, and the general population. We work to reduce the stigma associated with invisible illnesses and disabilities, advocate for institutional change by fostering awareness in healthcare, education, and workplace environments, and create inclusive and accessible spaces where people with invisible conditions can feel safe, seen, and supported.
