The Foundation receives support from individuals, corporations and philanthropic organizations. It also provides support to The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Center at The University of Montana. The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation is not a grant-making organization and does not accept grant proposals.

The Himalayan Children's Fund is a way for people around the world, and the west in particular, to connect with the lives of people in the Himalayan Region of Nepal, India and Tibet. HCF provides support for Thrangu Rinpoche's many compassionate activities such as schools, monasteries and clinics. By providing support for education, food, clothing, medicine and other needs we hope to equip the children and adults with the tools necessary for life enhancement while helping to preserve the culture of the people which is primarily of Tibetan and Buddhist heritage.

Founded in 1921, San Francisco Community Music Center (CMC), a Bay Area nonprofit, is one of the oldest and largest community arts organizations on the West Coast making high quality music accessible to all people, regardless of financial means.
