Children's Plus Foster Family Agency provides an array of services for children, non-minor dependents (NMD's), resource families, and clients. The formulation of these programs are in response to the growing need of the children, youth and NMD in our community that require resource family homes, that provide nurturing, loving, and stable living arrangements. Children's Plus FFA serves the community by providing child abuse prevention and treatment mental/behavioral healthcare services. Our purpose is to provide short term, long term, and permanency homes for children age birth through 21, who are removed from their homes due to traumatic experience and abuse. Our primary service modality is to provide a nurturing home with a family trained to address the needs (emotional, behavioral, mental) of children whose family ties have been broken, and/or disrupted.

We are a leader in the training of humanitarian outreach professionals, with over three decades of response to global and local disasters. MeaningfulWorld offers mental health education programs and workshops focusing on empowerment, stress management, time management, creating a healthy workplace, preventing burnouts, mindfulness, resolving conflicts peacefully, Emotional Intelligence, and meaning-making. In addition, our Humanitarian Outreach Teams have helped rehabilitate survivors of traumatic events in over 48 countries and 26 states in the U.S.A. We help transform tragedy and trauma into healing and meaning-making through post traumatic growth, mindfulness, and mind-body-eco-spirit health to provide relief and restoration to those traumatized, and to those treating traumatized populations. Legal Information for Families Today (LIFT)

Legal Information for Families Today (LIFT) empowers families to advocate for themselves in the complex Family Courts, where over 80% of litigants do not have a lawyer. We serve 30,000 people each year by operating hotlines to answer pressing questions related to court processes, child support, custody, and visitation; running Education Information Sites and Family Legal Centers at courthouses in all 5 boroughs; and holding parenting workshops and mother's groups that address the needs of our participants.
