Mammals

Mammals are a diverse and important group of animals that play critical roles in ecosystems around the world. According to estimates from the International Union for Conservation of Nature, approximately one-quarter of all mammal species are threatened with extinction, and many face challenges related to habitat loss, climate change, and human activities such as hunting and poaching. Mammal conservation programs and initiatives, such as the Wildlife Conservation Society and the International Rhino Foundation, work to promote the conservation and protection of mammal species and their habitats and mitigate the impacts of human activities on mammal populations.
