Reptiles and Amphibians

Reptiles and amphibians are important components of many ecosystems, but they are often misunderstood and undervalued. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature, approximately 40% of all reptile species and 33% of all amphibian species are at risk of extinction, primarily due to habitat loss, climate change, and other human activities. However, there are many organizations and groups working to protect reptiles and amphibians, such as the International Reptile Conservation Foundation and Amphibian Ark. These groups work to promote conservation efforts, raise public awareness about the importance of these species, and provide resources and support for research and conservation initiatives.
