Laulima Pahoa is a successful volunteer non-profit unincorporated association established in the County and State of Hawai'i in 2016. The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized include, but are not limited to: Improving the quality of life in Pahoa Village and Puna communities by inspiring and empowering the people of Pahoa and Puna to become integral parts of improving the community by, eliminating negative elements (crime, vandalism, drug- and alcohol-abuse, graffiti, littering, etc.), strengthening and creating positive elements (youth programs, village beautification, educational, arts and recreational programs for all ages, economic, community development, homesteading education, substance abuse treatment programs, services for the elderly, homeless and infirm, cultural education and celebration programs to facilitate better appreciation and understanding of the Native Hawaiian traditions, beliefs and heritage and to create a creative outlet for the people of Pahoa and Puna, and to bring life back into the Lower East Rift Zone (LERZ) , to help conserve and restore our vital native habitats, as Hawaii is the endangered species capital of the world and permanently incorporated into endangered and threatened articles of incorporation , so that we pave the way for generations to come to protect our planet, and more specifically, the very threatened natural habitat that is the Lower East Rift Zone of Hawai’i island.

WVision: Khairat Al-Alnahraeen of Human Organization seeks for peace in Iraqi society, in which considers preserved human rights guarantees justice, equality, and participation among the society groups, including marginalized and vulnerable ones (women, youth, children). Mission: Khairat Alnahraeen Organization works on implementing programmes and projects to support community initiatives that contribute to strengthening community cohesion, building peace, and combating extremism and violence. This keens to raise up resilience towards humanitarian access to influencers of affected groups in conflict and ways to achieve justice and gender equality, combating violence against women and girls. VILLAGE BICYCLE PROJECT INC

Village Bicycle Project aims to empower communities by strengthening bicycle culture. Our programs couple quality subsidized bicycles with hands-on maintenance training for new owners. We give village bike mechanics detailed training along with specialized bike tools and spare parts. This comprehensive, holistic approach ensures that bikes will be dependable, affordable and sustainable transportation. Women and girls, who are frequently marginalized, are specifically targeted for inclusion in programs which begin to address the gender inequalities that limit their access to bicycles. VBP programs make cycling an attractive choice for entire communities, as improved mobility enables growth in productivity with better access to jobs, schools and healthcare, not to mention the environmental and health benefits of cycling.
