THE ASSOCIATION FOR TRAUMA OUTREACH AND PREVENTION INC

Our mission is to foster a peaceful, meaningful, and just world. We are a leader in the training of humanitarian outreach professionals, with over three decades of response to global and local disasters. MeaningfulWorld offers mental health education programs and workshops focusing on empowerment, stress management, time management, creating a healthy workplace, preventing burnouts, mindfulness, resolving conflicts peacefully, Emotional Intelligence, and meaning-making. In addition, our Humanitarian Outreach Teams have helped rehabilitate survivors of traumatic events in over 48 countries and 26 states in the U.S.A. We help transform tragedy and trauma into healing and meaning-making through post traumatic growth, mindfulness, and mind-body-eco-spirit health to provide relief and restoration to those traumatized, and to those treating traumatized populations. ATOP MeaningfulWorld is dedicated to fostering a meaningful, peaceful, and just world in which every individual enjoys physical, emotional, mental, social, financial, ecological, and spiritual well-being. A sense of meaning, peace, and justice, although unique to each individual, is achieved through a transformative journey that integrates knowledge and experience with a sense of responsibility, reflection, and service. This transformative process is also attained through fostering healthy relationships that nurture open, honest, and transparent communication, insight into forgiveness, love and spiritual connection, and active collaborations and service.

The Bee Cause Project

The Bee Cause Project and our tiny partners, the bees, work to engage students of all ages with their own environments through observation-based learning. The Clark Hulings Fund for Visual Artists (CHF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the legacy of American painter Clark Hulings (1922 - 2011) by equipping working visual artists to be self-sustaining entrepreneurs. Founded in 2013, CHF showcases Hulings’ life and work as an example to today’s artists, and offers them a comprehensive art-business education so that they can thrive as he did. We deliver a suite of integrated learning services continually, both virtually and in-person—via live events, digital channels, and portable media formats—and build professional networks of opportunity.

"Making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged middle school students across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties" The Emily Shane Foundation believes that all students deserve the opportunity to attain their best academic potential. Our flagship SEA (Successful Educational Achievement) Program provides intensive and individualized academic tutoring and mentorship to disadvantaged children in the mainstream, middle school classroom who risk academic failure and could not otherwise afford this necessary support. Students are guided to become motivated, and change negative attitudes or a sense of hopelessness and are set on a path to academic and personal success.
